Barista Role Overview
As a Barista, you’ll be the face of our bakery - serving handcrafted coffee, sharing our love for Danish pastries, and creating a cozy, welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Your main focus will be coffee, but we work as a team - supporting each other across all areas of the store to deliver an exceptional experience.

Founded in 1991 by bakers Ole Kristoffersen and Steen Skallebaek and originally called Lagkagehuset or "layer cake house," Ole & Steen is a pioneer in the resurgence of artisan and handcrafted baking practices in Denmark. In the US, Ole & Steen has introduced New Yorkers to their modern takes on traditional Danish pastries, while welcoming guests with a sense of Danish hygge and hospitality.
